LEXINGTON, KY, September 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Six exemplary initiatives were chosen as recipients for the National Association of State Chief Administrators' (NASCA) 2022 Innovation in State Government Award to recognize state administrative department programs that exemplify best practices in operations and leadership.
Recipients were announced at NASCA's Award Ceremony held during the 2022 Institute on Management and Leadership in Scottsdale, Arizona on September 19, 2022. This marks the eighth consecutive year NASCA has honored outstanding achievements in the public sector through the awards program. The nominations are reviewed by experienced state Chief Administrators and subject-matter experts from the private sector based on innovation, ability to transfer or replicate the initiatives to other states and local governments, and efficiencies created.

• State of Minnesota: Statewide "Global Peace" Agreement in Landmark Opioid Settlement Case

• State of Florida: Operations and Maintenance Energy Conservation Measures
