'The 13th International Climate & Environment Fair' held at Kimdaejung Convention Center on the 14th... 110 companies participated, 230 booths opened!

    LOS ANGELES, CA, October 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The 13th International Climate and Environment Fair, the largest environmental exhibition in the Jeolla Province and the only exhibition specializing in climate change response technology in Korea, was held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju on September 14th (Wednesday).

This exhibition, co-hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City and the South Jeolla Province and co-hosted by the Kimdaejung Convention Center and the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, was held for three days from September 14 to 16. In addition, the 1st Gwangju Social Economy Fair was held simultaneously from September 15 which gives visitors various events to attend.

In the 13th International Climate & Environment Fair, climate and environment-related public institutions such as the International Climate & Environment Center, Korea Filter Testing Laboratory, Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation, and Environmental corporation of Gwangju and 110 representative environmental business enterprises such as Kia Motors, Ecopro HN and Purium, participated while 230 booths were opened.

These companies advertised, displayed and sold new products related to future environmental technologies that will lead carbon neutrality, such as the air industry, water treatment technology, resource circulation, and ESG technology.

21 companies from 12 countries including Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam participated in the export consultation meetings that was co-hosted by KOTRA. Including the exhibition period, it will be held through a video conference until September 16.

Side events such as export consultation meetings, consultation meetings for large corporations, mid-sized companies, and small businesses, and ESG conferences were held. 21 companies from 12 countries, including Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam, participated in the export consultation meeting where they conducted consultations with domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

In the consultation meetings for large corporations, mid-sized companies, and small businesses, 10 domestic large enterprises and public institutions participated as customers and conducted one-on-one on-site consultations with small and medium-sized enterprises. At the ESG conference, three industrial companies from Gwangju Metropolitan City will participate as demand sources to discuss ESG-related technologies developed by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The 13th International Climate & Environment Fair is the only exhibition specializing in climate change response technology in Korea. It is hosted by Gwangju City and the South Jeolla Province and co-hosted by Kimdaejung Convention Center, KOTRA, and the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.

At this exhibition, new technologies in air pollutant management industry, water resource management industry, resource circulation and service industry, and climate change response will be presented. In addition, side events such as online export consultations and consultation meetings for large companies, medium-sized enterprises, and small enterprises hosted by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership support domestic and overseas market development. Various forums and seminars will also be held during the exhibition.
