Jessica's entire life has been spent in the heart of Florida. During her time at the University of Miami, where she earned her bachelor's degree, she was a member of the varsity tennis team. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Jessica went on to pursue a career as a professional tennis player before enrolling at Stetson University College of Law.

By the end of her time at Stetson University in 2008, Jessica had finished her degree in law. She began her career in the legal sector by working as an Assistant Public Defender in Brevard County, Florida's 18th Judicial Circuit.

In addition to her membership in the Brevard County Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association, she is also a member of the 18th Circuit Grievance Committee.
