Friday Harbour to Help More Patients in Their Cancer Journey

    HOUSTON, TX, November 16, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Every cancer journey is unique. For 250,000 people in the US each year, that journey takes them far from home. Finding temporary lodging is one of the major financial burdens of traveling for cancer treatment. This can be a significant barrier to healing as it adds stress to one of life's most difficult experiences. For some, it can mean that treatment is not an option.

Friday Harbour is a 501c3 non-profit that has been serving patients in Houston's MD Anderson Cancer Center for the past 10 years. We know that a cancer journey can often be unpredictable. That's why we partner with local hotels to provide complimentary lodging at a moment's notice.
