HOUSTON, TX, November 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Mainland City Centre, a JMK5 Holdings redevelopment property, recently announced the official dates for the Christmas Market in 2022.
Taking place on December 3rd and 4th, people from the area will have an opportunity to get into the holiday spirit, with over 40 vendors coming in for the event.
Each year since the redeveloped Mainland City Centre opened, Christmas on the Mainland takes place two weekends before the holiday season.
This year, The Pocket Market is hosting Christmas on the Mainland on the first weekend of November and December.
In November, the event packed Mainland City Centre and allowed some people to check out the area for the first time. Families and individuals checked out temporary vendors, and tenants benefitted from the added foot traffic.
The weekend of December figures to be an even bigger event as it's closer to Christmas and people are more in the holiday spirit.
A wide range of vendors will have something for the entire family at Christmas on the Mainland. Visitors are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy to the TCPD Blue Santa Program. With just one donation, it allows for a free picture with Santa.
Christmas on the Mainland opens on both days at 11 AM and ends at 6 PM. The all-day event makes it easy for families to pop in and check everything out at their convenience.
There's optimism that the weather will be great during the first week of December, but inclement weather measures are in place to keep it enjoyable.
As one of the final events at Mainland City Centre in 2022, there are expectations for an even busier 2023. When Jerome Karam opened up the Mainland City Centre, he envisioned it as a centralized location for the entire community.
More and more companies are buying into this approach, which has allowed them to host many different types of events despite COVID-19 challenges.
To keep up-to-date with Christmas on the Mainland or any other event, visit the Mainland City Center's Facebook page. Updates are posted all the time, and there are ways to get specific questions answered by the administrators.
Throughout December, there will be a lot of holiday decorations to put people in the spirit. Residents are encouraged to keep up with social media to understand better any announcements that are a bit more spur of the moment. The very active Facebook page makes it easy to notice everything.
