Alexus received her law degree from the University of Baltimore and was included in the Top 100 Lawyers listing in 2022. She is also a graduate of the Legacy Institute for the Environment at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center and the Leadership Anne Arundel Neighborhood Leadership Academy. She volunteers with the Girl Scouts USA and has served in leadership roles for Annapolis and state Jaycee chapters.
