When the company went on sale two years ago, she and her partner purchased it, merging their love of activewear and pole fitness. Today, they are celebrating two years of ownership with a push to welcome even more people to the pole fitness community.

Shay is an international Pole Champion, instructor, and judge. She and partner Bennie Miles purchased the pole fitness clothing company when the previous owner stepped away to spend time with her aging parents. "She made us an offer, and it just felt right. We love the uniqueness and inclusivity of the pole and circus communities, and we cannot wait to help grow and cultivate them even more," said Shay.

Shay and Bennie also own Dew Point Products, a line of pole grip aids, and Kairos Pole & Aerial Fitness Centers in their home state of Utah. They are looking to expand the PoleActive inventory to include more types of circus and aerial arts apparel as well as swimwear.

While circus arts may have been considered a "fringe" form of fitness in the past, Shay and Bennie are part of the movement to bring it center stage.
