CAMAS, WA, March 20, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CID Bio-Science, a global leader in plant science and gas measurement solutions, has acquired Interscan Corporation, a leading provider of specialized toxic gas detection instruments to capitalize on more than a decade of partnership.
Founded in 1975, Interscan Corporation specializes in providing state-of-the-art toxic gas detection analyzers to the aerospace, lumber, paper, pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical manufacturing, general manufacturing, and food production industries. The company's focus on tailored products and quality engineering has earned it the position as a top-tier provider in the industry and recognition as the preferred choice for organizations with specific requirements.
After a collaboration of more than 12 years, the acquisition of Interscan by CID Bio-Science represents a natural and sensible progression in Interscan's growth. Much of the current Interscan product line was designed by the CID Bio-Science engineering team and delivery of Interscan products has required careful coordination and sharing of responsibility between the Interscan staff at Simi Valley, CA and CID's staff in Camas, WA. With such a strong working relationship already in place, the acquisition by CID Bio-Science will enable Interscan to engineer better solutions and improve on customer experiences as Interscan engineering, manufacturing, and sales will now reside under one roof.
"It is our sincere intention to continue the tradition of excellent service for Interscan Corporation products, regardless of when they were purchased and through which sales channels," said Leonard Felix, CEO of CID Bio-Science. "This acquisition will enable us to deliver even more high-quality products to our customers."
