Washington Construction Defect Center Urges a Homeowner in a Newer Subdivision in Washington State to Call if Their Home's Builder Failed to Fix Known Defects Such as Leaks-Why Get Stuck with the Tab

The Washington Construction Defect Center says, "If you are a homeowner in a subdivision built in Washington State after 2018 and your home has numerous construction defects your home builder failed to repair-please call us at 866-714-6466."



"We want to do everything possible to ensure a homeowner in a newer subdivision does not get stuck with the bill for correcting the builder's mistakes or poor workmanship."

The Washington Construction Defect Center Would Like to Hear from Homeowners in Newer Subdivisions in Washington State If They Have the Following Types of Problems:

*Water leaks because of improperly installed or defective siding

* Improperly installed windows that create water leaks-or-windows that never properly opened.

* Exterior doors that were improperly installed that lead to water leaks-or-doors that never closed properly.

*Defective roofs that were improperly flashed or installed and or that have defective roofing material.

*Severe foundation cracks or foundations that are not level.

*Single family homes in newer subdivisions that now have mold because the building was not protected during the framing/drywall process.

*Improperly installed or defective wood fascia board or wood trim that is now rotting.

*Improper exterior calking of exterior siding that leads to water leaks and or mold.

* Plumbing or electrical issues---that the homebuilder ignored.

The only catch is the home must be in a subdivision, or a multi-unit townhouse.
