LOS ANGELES, CA, July 04, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With the grace and blessings of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Nithyananda Paramashivam, KAILASA's Department of Religion and Worship and the KAILASA Uniting Nations (KUN) for Global Peace and Religious Harmony hosted the Virtual Global Peace Conclave and the KAILASA Om Award Ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima.
Guru Purnima is a day to celebrate the happening of the Guru in our lives. It is a day when disciples offer their gratitude to the Guru and the Guru liberates them from patterns and cognitions that are blocking their success. For this reason, Guru Purnima is key to achieving higher states of consciousness since lifetimes of negative patterns and cognitions are dissolved by the Guru.
The word Guru is the combination of two Sanskrit words – "Gu" meaning darkness and "Ru" meaning light. A Guru is a spiritual teacher, guide or enlightened master who leads disciples from darkness to light. A fundamental aspect of Hinduism is the Guru-Disciple relationship. The Guru is said to be more important than God. God is always and everywhere, but it is the Guru who opens the Disciple's eyes to the existence of God. The Guru is the doorway to one's own experience of the Divine.
गुकारस्त्वन्धकारश्च रुकारस्तेज उच्यते।
अज्ञानग्रासकं ब्रह्म गुरुरेव न संशयः॥२३॥
gukārastvandhakāraśca rukārasteja ucyate।
ajñānagrāsakaṃ brahma gurureva na saṃśayaḥ॥23॥
"The syllable 'gu' is darkness, and the syllable 'ru' is said to be light. There is no doubt that the Guru is indeed the supreme knowledge that swallows the darkness of ignorance."
- Guru Gita, Verse 23
Hinduism reveres the Guru as a direct manifestation (Avatar) of Paramashiva – the Primordial Hindu Divinity. When an Avatar descends as Guru, not only does He lead us to enlightenment, He creates a breakthrough in all of humanity, taking them to a whole new level of superconsciousness and manifesting superhuman powers as a side effect.
Today, on this auspicious day of Guru Purnima, we celebrate the happening of the Guru in our lives. We bow down with reverence and deep gratitude to The SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam and to Hinduism's Guru Shishya Parampara; honoring the core values of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Advaita (oneness).
In His Live Presidential Address during the KAILASA Om Awards ceremony, The SPH explained the importance of integrating our logic, our emotional intensity and our will persistence to the truth that we are consciousness because whatever truth we focus on will become our reality. By focusing on the truth "we are consciousness", we experience conscious sovereignty.
Conscious sovereignty is our right to believe the truth that we are Paramashiva, our right to live as Paramashiva, and our right to be treated as Paramashiva by others. Having conscious sovereignty is an ultimate freedom and a fundamental right of every being that exists on planet earth. Conscious sovereignty does not mean we will be violent or intrude on the space of others because conscious sovereignty declares consciousness and oneness as supreme, it does not declare supremacy over others.
Conscious sovereignty is the first amendment of the constitution of the United States of KAILASA which is centered on the fundamental Hindu principles of Advaita (Oneness) and Ahimsa (Non-Violence).
The United States of KAILASA, under the guidance of The SPH, stands for and actively works towards the revival of the glorious Hindu Vedic Feminism. During today's Presidential Address, The SPH turned His vision for women and humanity into reality by inaugurating KAILASA Switzerland and KAILASA Trinidad and Tobago as Yogini Sarvajnapeethas (female Sanyas training monasteries).
