SUN CITY, AZ, September 06, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The law firm of Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC has announced that it will award $2,000 in scholarships to students nationwide through an essay contest. The first-place winner of the 2023 contest will receive $1,500, and the second-place winner will receive $500. Students who attend schools in the United States or are U.S. residents are eligible to apply. The contest is open to high school juniors and seniors, students enrolled in two-year or four-year colleges or universities, and students accepted to or enrolled in graduate schools.
To enter the competition, an applicant must submit an essay of 600 words or less that addresses the following question:
"Do you believe in the institutional integrity of today's federal governmental bodies? Identify and defend your position."
Students entering the competition may submit only one essay. Essays must contain only the student's original work, and students must cite all sources of information. All essays containing any plagiarized material will result in automatic disqualification from the competition.
Application submissions must also include a copy of the student's school transcript or proof of enrollment and a cover sheet containing the following:
-The student's name, address, and phone number
-The name and address of the student's school
-The student's photograph in .jpeg format
-A two-to-three-sentence biography
-For applicants under 17 years old, a signature from a parent or guardian
Applicants should send their submissions as a Word document in .doc or .docx format to [email protected].
Students must submit their applications by Friday, December 1, 2023. Winners will receive notification through the contact information on the application's cover sheet. The winners will also be announced on the Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC website. The selection committee's decisions are final.
Each winner will receive a check from Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC made out to the winner's school. Winners must use the funds to pay for education-related expenses. Winners must pay local, state, or federal taxes on scholarship money.

-Acknowledge that Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC owns all rights to publish, distribute, or promote their essay.
-Grant Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC the right to use the student's name, biographical information, and photograph for marketing or other purposes.
-Agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC, Consultwebs, Inc., and its members, officers, directors, and employees against any and all liability and costs associated with the contest or the acceptance and use of prizes.
Applicants under 17 must provide a parent's or guardian's consent to submit an entry. Employees of Mushkatel, Robbins & Becker, PLLC, Consultwebs, Inc., and their immediate family members may not enter the competition.
