The Taco Spot & Tosinos Mexican Grill Announce Exciting Merger: Introducing 'The Taco Spot - East Mesa'

    MESA, AZ, October 04, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Birria-style Mexican food has become one of the most popular types of food among consumers since 2020. This caused the owner of Tosinos Mexican Grill to join The Taco Spot franchise family as location #4 in Mesa, Arizona.

Their new menu consists of authentic birria tacos, birria ramen, birria quesadillas, burritos, tacos, nachos, and vampire-style Mexican food.

The Taco Spot was created in 2020 when two brothers, Jorge & Jesus Ruiz, started making their secret birria taco recipe and selling them out of a local barbershop in Chandler, Arizona.

Their food was so well received that they opened a restaurant right after the pandemic ended and now have four Taco Spot locations in Arizona.

The director of The Taco Spot, Jesus Ruiz, says, "We started franchising in 2022 and joining forces with Tosinos Mexican Grill seemed logical as it is a trendy eating spot in East Mesa. We bring our signature birria tacos recipe, drenched in a perfectly blended birria Consomé sauce crafted meticulously. We are also the pioneers of birria ramen – a fusion that marries traditional flavors in a surprising, delectable way."

The new location opened to a good-sized crowd on September 15th, 2023. Social media influencer Biggroove entertained everybody by dancing through the grand opening ribbon into the restaurant.

After trying out the food at this new restaurant, Jean Valle, a Google local guide, said, "The birria tacos were delicious! The fries were delicious, and the consome was super delicious to dip my tacos and fries. The horchata delicious."

Jesus added, "We aim to provide a richer dining experience for patrons with this new location. Customers can expect to enjoy an entirely new menu featured around Birria style food."
