Gerrick Wilkins: I Would Vote Jim Jordan for Speaker

Wilkins said Jordan was a true conservative who has been unwavering in supporting a strong border, the Second Amendment, a strong military defense, and small government. True reform for America will only begin with unwavering leadership, and Jim Jordan has consistently demonstrated that leadership. Wilkins said that the House should never have been in the position of having a second battle for House Speaker and would not have been had he been the 6th District's representative. Unlike Gary Palmer, who supported former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy every vote in January, Wilkins would have opposed McCarthy until a true champion of conservative principles was elected earlier this year.

"Jim Jordan is the true steadfast conservative in the race to be the next House Speaker and has my full support," said Gerrick Wilkins. "Jim Jordan will be the Speaker who will stand up to Joe Biden, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the wokes in Washington.

"If Gary Palmer were a true conservative, he would not have backed Kevin McCarthy in January to the bitter end, and we would have had a true conservative as Speaker now. Unlike Gary Palmer, I will never sacrifice my principles to get along with the swamp in D.C," said Wilkins.

"Jim Jordan is that conservative, and I wholeheartedly support him and will proudly cast my first vote to elect him Speaker in January of 2025," concluded Wilkins.

Over the years, he has committed significant time and personal resources to missions and philanthropic work locally to help his community in Alabama and worldwide. Gerrick also serves on several local advisory boards, including one for Mission Increase and Samford University's Brock School of Business.

Gerrick knows it is only by the blessings of God that our country has enjoyed bountiful prosperity. Because of his success in the business world, Gerrick and his wife, Carol, are privileged to give hundreds of thousands for dollars to churches, various charities, mission organizations, and educational programs through private donations.

Gerrick is a loving husband to his incredible wife of 24 years, Carol, and a devoted father to their amazing daughter, Hanna. Gerrick and his family moved to Alabama in 2006 and have lived in Vestavia Hills since 2014. He attended Pensacola Christian College, where he met his wife and earned a bachelor's degree in theology from Liberty University. Gerrick has been a strong proponent of lifelong learning, and during his professional career, he returned and earned a master's in business administration from Samford University.
