Over 1,000 attendees flocked to this major event, aimed at promoting digital culture and security. With more than 10 venues throughout Italy, including a highlight in Venice, the festival drew significant attention.
Impressive figures include participation from over 60 national and international speakers, 4 honored guests, and an additional 10 special guests. Social media campaigns and posts reached a staggering 300,000 individuals, with the official website recording over 20,000 page views. Institutions, the State Police, and various associations showed their support, with over 50 partners and sponsors contributing to the festival's 50 hours of events, both virtual and in-person. Attendees experienced these events in grand settings, ranging from historic palaces to cutting-edge technological hubs.
Noteworthy attendees of this fifth edition were Guido Scorza, a member of the Data Protection Authority, and Alessandro Musumeci, Chief of the Technical Secretariat for the Undersecretary of State for Digital Transition. Both graced the festival's inaugural event.
Marco Cozzi, president of the Digital Security Festival, emphasized the event's core: "Our focus was on cybersecurity education. Our aim has always been to broaden understanding on this pivotal topic. It's vital to combat digital illiteracy for a just society."

The motto for this fifth edition was aptly chosen as "Illuminate the path with knowledge." With a focus on raising awareness and educating about digital risks, the festival aimed to arm individuals and businesses with the knowledge to safeguard their digital footprints. Notably, the festival also catered to parents, guiding them on protecting their children from potential digital threats.
One of this year's innovations was the launch of a dedicated smartphone app for the event. Soon, users will have complimentary access to pivotal discussions and lectures from the festival.
