QUEEN CREEK, AZ, November 27, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Handel's Homemade Ice Cream's multi-unit franchise owners, Terry and Jennifer Keenen, are stirring up excitement again with the opening of their newest Scoop Shop in Queen Creek, AZ. The couple is bringing the premium ice cream brand to 21182 South Ellsworth Loop Road #104, Queen Creek AZ 85142 and celebrating with a grand opening on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Starting at 11 a.m., the first 50 guests will be treated to Free Ice Cream for a Year.
The Queen Creek Handel's will also continue the celebration through out the weekend with a Family Fun Night with a ballon twister and a face painter on Friday, December 1st, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. And a Buy one get one cone/dish promotion on Saturday, December 2nd, from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The Keenens and their partners have been vital in growing the Handel's name throughout Arizona. In addition to the Queen Creek location, the pair recently opened the Tempe store at the Tempe Marketplace and also own two Handel's stores in Scottsdale, AZ.

In honor of the new store opening, the Queen Creek Handel's will also be supporting a great cause. On Sunday, December 3, the store is hosting a fundraiser to benefit House of Refuge. Handel's is donating 20% of sales from open to close that day to the local nonprofit.
House of Refuge is located in Mesa, AZ and provides transitional housing and supportive services for families experiencing homelessness. The organization offers a community of 88 two-bedroom homes that families in need may rent. Through their innovative programming, House of Refuge emphasizes employment and education so that families can stabilize their lives and transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The Queen Creek Handel's is a 1,800 sq. ft. walk-in with an outside patio where guests may enjoy local and seasonal flavors including Black Cherry, Buckeye, Coffee Chocolate Chip, Graham Central Station, Oree-Dough, Salty Caramel Truffle, and more.
This location will be open daily from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and will offer pickup, delivery, and catering.
