U.S. Term Limits Thanks Representative-Elect Gabe Amo for Signing Term Limits Pledge With Billboards in His District

    WASHINGTON, DC, November 29, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- U.S. Term Limits (U.S.T.L) is congratulating Representative-Elect Gabe Amo on his victory in Rhode Island's 1st Congressional District and thanking him for signing the U.S. Term Limits pledge with billboards in his congressional district. The U.S. Term Limits pledge promises that the elected representative will co-sponsor the U.S. Term Limits amendment for congressional term limits. The amendment calls for 6 years total in the U.S. House of Representatives and 12 years maximum in the U.S. Senate. Amo proudly signed the pledge during his campaign and has stated strong support for congressional term limits. The billboards are located at Rt. 146 at 400 Charles St in Providence and 206 Pine St east of Main St in Pawtucket.

Polling done by Pew Research shows that 87% of Americans regardless of political affiliation support congressional term limits. This the highest percentage ever recorded. Other polling is consistent with this, showing over 80% of Americans supporting congressional term limits.
