She holds a doctorate in Ministry with a focus on Spiritual Formation & Soul Care, complemented by Master's degrees in Adult Education (Holistic Health) and Human Services (Gerontology). With a background deeply rooted in spirituality, she spent years embracing a lifestyle like her ancestors.

However, a life-altering injury forced her to move into a city far removed from the simplicity she once cherished. Now, more than 20 years later, disabled and retired, Susan draws from her life experiences to create the Sunny Stella Series.
