This rebranding signifies Weiss Medical's evolution and sets the stage for the future growth of the practice. Impact Medical's name was derived from the practice's desire to make an impact on the lives of each of its patients every day.

In making the announcement, founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jeffrey Weiss noted that Weiss Medical has been an integral part of the community since 2004, and the organization is proud to continue this legacy as Impact Medical.

Dr. Weiss earned his MD at Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1997. He graduated as a member of AOA, the medical school honor society. He then went on to perform a pediatric residency (1997 - 2000) at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, in which he won numerous teaching awards and was honored as the "Most Compassionate Doctor." His training continued at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, in which he completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in 2002. During the fellowship, he was awarded "Best Teaching Fellow of the Year" in 2001.

Dr. Weiss is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) and has been practicing medicine in northern New Jersey since 2002.
