He also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from the University of Miami.

Mr. Brown has been a member of the Florida Bar Association Family Law Section, has served as Chairman of the Volusia County Bar Association Family Law Committee, and was an appointed member of the Family Court Task Force for the Seventh Judicial Circuit (which includes Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns Counties). He has also served as a member of the Domestic Violence Task Force for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, and as Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the Seventh Judicial Circuit.
