Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Fellowship trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Lafer evaluates and treats both adults and children. She typically sees children for nasal trauma, otoplasty, EarWell, and laceration repair, but also treats congenital abnormalities.

Dr. Lafer earned her medical degree at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She completed a five-year otolaryngology residency at NYU Medical Center and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Buckingham Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Austin, Texas.
She also holds a post-baccalaureate pre-medical certificate from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University.
