Carla the Barber Now Accepting Appointments at Salon and Spa Galleria Oakmont Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas

"I grew up surrounded by six brothers," Tenorio said. "As the only girl, it was only natural that I was interested in beauty." With more than 10 years of experience in the business, Tenorio Castro knows she followed the right path to achieve her dream.

The first step on that path was education and training. After attending the Ogle School of Beauty and Cosmetology and the ASAPP Barber College, Tenorio earned her license. And now, she's earning her clients' trust, as they turn to her when they're ready for a new look.

"When my clients come in and they're ready for a new look, they're looking to me for advice and suggestions," Tenorio said. "They know they can depend on me, and I'm proud to be the one they trust."

At Carla the Barber, Tenorio provides a wide variety of services for clients of all ages, including haircuts and styles, braids, dreadlocks, color, hot-towel shaves, fades, facials and waxing. She specializes in hairstyling for the entire family, and offers hairstyling for weddings, parties, proms, and other special events.

To celebrate the grand opening at her new location, Tenorio is offering a special rate of $25 for a haircut during the month of June.

Carla the Barber is accepting clients from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday by appointment only.
