American Party® Founder Announces IQ Challenge to Donald J. Trump

    ELIZABETH, NJ, July 24, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today, the American Party®, the only modern Party, announced that it has sent a public IQ Challenge to 2024 Republican Party Nominee Donald J. Trump.

Mr. Trump has refused to make his high school, college and SAT scores public. There is no evidence that he has superior intelligence. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment exam, which he passed in 2018, is used to test for impairment associated with Alzheimer's disease, stroke or early dementia. It is not an intelligence test and does not prove that one has the cognitive skills to successfully perform at a high level. We blogged in July 2012 that all Presidential candidates and U.S. Presidents should undergo annual cognitive testing.

We note that Mr. Trump told a crowd on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Grand Rapids, MI. that Mr. Biden's IQ score was "about a 70 IQ." It's time for his statements about intelligence to be put to the test.

It is essential, not just desirable, that leading candidates prove that they possess the intelligence to quickly assimilate new information, problem-solve and comprehend and interpret all tasks and communications. The ability to prioritize objectives, create solutions and to communicate with others is vital if our nation is to endure.

Under the U.S. Constitution, the President, in addition to being Chief Executive, is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. He holds the prime responsibility for the conduct of United States foreign relations. These duties carry very broad powers, including the power to deploy American forces abroad and commit them to military operations.

Therefore, in the name of 2.8 million Active-Duty Military, and every U.S. Citizen, WE CHALLENGE MR. TRUMP to take a REAL IQ Test as follows:

THE IQ TEST CHALLENGE:

1. Both the founder of the American Party®, Roger Cowles, and the Republican Party's 2024 nominee for President, Donald J. Trump, are challenged to take the "full-score" WAIS-IV intelligence test, with all 10 subtests, before October 1, 2024.

2. Mr. Trump and Mr. Cowles will take this "full-score" WAIS-IV test at the office of any State-licensed psychologist in the United States. This test may not be taken remotely. Taking a different test, or a mere subset of the full WAIS-IV test, will be considered invalid. The psychologist must hold a currently valid State license. The "full-score" WAIS-IV test must be completed in one session, typically lasting about 2 hours.

3. The psychology practices administering the WAIS-IV tests will communicate the scores to the participants and to us by email and/or U.S. mail.

4. Mr. Cowles has ACCEPTED this Challenge and will take the "full-score" WAIS-IV test before September 7, 2024.

5. Mr. Trump is hereby challenged to publicly ACCEPT or REFUSE this IQ Test Challenge by August 24, 2024. ACCEPTANCE constitutes notifying us of his acceptance to this challenge in writing. If Mr. Trump does not respond, or accepts and then does not test, he will be deemed to have REFUSED this challenge.

6. We will make public by national press release the results of this IQ Challenge, whether or not Mr. Trump accepts. If Mr. Trump refuses or does not respond, we reserve the right to publicize this fact. The names of the psychology practices will be redacted to preserve their anonymity

7. There is no reason not to test. This test cannot be "fixed," and takes only about 2 hours. Mr. Trump is asked to respond to this IQ Challenge no later than Thursday, August 24, 2024. All testing must be completed by October 1, 2024.
