Troy A. Bataille is the office lead of the firm's Connecticut location. Troy's litigation experience is far-reaching including professional liability, employment, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, environmental, products liability, toxic tort, class-actions, TCPA, subrogation, construction, transportation, general liability, and appellate advocacy. He serves on the Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS), Hartford Chapter, Steering Committee.
Brendan T. Fitzpatrick chairs the firm's Appellate Advocacy Practice. He is one of the most prominent and prolific appellate litigators in New York State. He has briefed more than 800 appeals, argued nearly 500, and achieved appellate reversal or affirmance for clients before all Appellate Divisions in New York State, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is chair of the Amicus Committee of the Defense Association of New York.
Erin N. Mackin represents prominent corporations, municipalities, retailers, and transportation companies in a range of civil liability claims including construction, premises liability, sexual torts, property damage, and motor vehicle accidents. She has vast experience developing and tailoring regional and national coordinating counsel solutions. She is an active member of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association.
Jeff Migdalen is a seasoned trial lawyer with numerous successful verdicts in state and federal courts. He defends contractors and owners in construction worksite injury claims invoking New York's Labor Law. He also regularly defends clients in high exposure personal injury actions involving premises liability, trucking and products liability.
Kelly E. Petter is a leader of the firm's Insurance Solutions Practice Group where she creates value for clients in the areas of specialized insurance programs, loss portfolio transfers, private equity group structures, reinsurance, regulatory issues, and transactional aspects of insurance and private equity risk-transfer transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, run off portfolio and corporate liability transfers. She is the Second Vice President of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and is active in CLM.
Marvin N. Romero is the office lead of the firm's Long Island location. He litigates commercial disputes and tort matters for Fortune 500 companies, as well as defending national retailers, property owners, and individuals. He is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
