American Party® Announces that Donald J. Trump Ignored our Public IQ Challenge Issued on July 24, 2024

    ELIZABETH, NJ, October 01, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today, the American Party®, the only modern Party, announced the results of our public IQ Challenge to Donald J. Trump issued on July 24, 2024. Our challenge may be viewed at https://bit.ly/4dbiWEz.

Mr. Trump failed to respond to this IQ Challenge. On September 16, 2024, American Party founder Roger Cowles took the WAIS-IV test at a licensed psychologist's office and achieved a full-score (FSIQ) result greater than the U.S. average of 100.

Letters setting forth our IQ Challenge were sent to Trump counsel Alina Habba, the U.S. Senate Office of JD Vance and Trump/Vance campaign co-chair Chris LaCivita. Certified letters with return receipt requested were sent to Trump at the Mar-a-Lago club and Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. The Bedminster letter was refused and returned. The Mar-a-Lago letter disappeared without a trace and may have been intercepted by the Secret Service.

Mr. Trump told a crowd on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Grand Rapids, MI. that Mr. Biden's IQ score was "about a 70 IQ." Mr. Trump has refused to make his high school, college and SAT scores public. There is no evidence that he has superior or even average intelligence. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment exam, which he passed in 2018, is used to evaluate for impairment associated with Alzheimer's disease, stroke or early dementia. It is not an intelligence test and does not prove that one has the cognitive skills to successfully perform at a high level.

Under the U.S. Constitution, the President is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. He holds the prime responsibility for the conduct of United States foreign relations. These duties carry very broad powers, including the power to deploy American forces abroad and commit them to military operations.

During the Republican debate on December 15, 2015 Trump was asked by Hugh Hewitt "which of the three legs of the nuclear triad" was Trump's priority. He replied, "For me, nuclear, the power, the devastation, is very important to me." Of course, the nuclear triad refers to the three ways the U.S. is capable of firing nuclear weapons.

As President, Trump once asked his chief of staff if Finland is part of Russia, according to former National Security Adviser John Bolton. Trump has scant knowledge of foreign policy issues, and no proven capacity to solve any foreign policy problem.

We gave Mr. Trump the opportunity to put widespread doubts about his mental status and intelligence to rest by sitting down with any State-licensed psychologist for two hours and taking this WAIS-IV standardized IQ test. He ignored our IQ Challenge to do so.

Candidates for police officer in all 50 States are required to undergo a written test, an oral interview and in many jurisdictions, a psychological test and polygraph as well. Donald J. Trump has never met the basic qualifications to be a police officer, much less President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

You may want to take these facts into consideration when you vote. In our view Mr. Trump has made no effort to show that he is qualified for the high office of President of the United States of America.
