Global Accelerator Program '10th Pan-Pan Day' Boosts Pangyo Startup Ecosystem: 6 Innovative Startups Participate

    SEONGNAM, KOREA, October 16, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 'Pan-Pan Day' is a monthly event with various programs designed to help startups in Pangyo expand into global markets. The name 'Pan-Pan Day' signifies "setting the stage in Pangyo" and is specifically tailored for startups aiming for international expansion.

Pan-Pan Day offers practical assistance to startups through programs such as IR (Investor Relations) pitching sessions, 1:1 consultations, networking opportunities, and seminars. Each month, a specific theme is chosen, and experts are invited to provide startups with up-to-date information critical for entering foreign markets.

On the 15th, the 10th Pan-Pan Day featured six innovative startups showcasing their unique products and services. The participating companies included:
- PetGround, which manufactures a body fat measurement device for pets
- Pitch Interactive, which has developed an interactive information platform for live e-sports broadcasts
- Soft Landers, which operates a platform for labor relocation service transactions and payments
- Piten, which produces a natural bio-material for itch relief called P10;
- Mbiome Therapeutics, which researches functional food ingredients based on natural substances
- Bottle, which developed a 1:1 golf partner matching application aimed at the 2030 generation called 'Golf People.'

Venture capital firms such as Kyobo Life Insurance, Nautilus Investment, and Y&ARCHER attended the event to explore investment and collaboration opportunities through 1:1 consultations with the startups.

One of the highlights of this Pan-Pan Day was a special lecture by Sejin Kim, CEO of Beyond the Stage, titled "The Art of Successful IR Pitching." Drawing on his experiences at international events like CES and MWC, Kim provided valuable insights on how startups can effectively prepare for presentations and secure investments.

Pangyo Techno Valley is a global integrated R&D hub focused on IT, BT, CT, and NT, integrating Research (R), People (P), Information (I), and Trade (T). As Gyeonggi-do's representative innovation cluster, Pangyo Techno Valley was established to secure national new growth drivers such as technological innovation, human resource development, job creation, and enhancing international business competitiveness. Furthermore, the Techno Valley Innovation Division of the Gyeonggi-do Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) holds monthly events such as the Pangyo Evening Meet-Up, Pan-Pan Day, and the Pangyo Startup Investment Exchange "In-Best Pangyo" to maximize the value of Pangyo Techno Valley. They also support the Pangyo Overseas Promotion Program to publicize information about Pangyo's companies, products, and services to domestic and foreign investors and the media, thereby facilitating foreign investment.
