Fort Worth-Area Groups Unite to Aid Survivors of Human Trafficking & Domestic Violence at the Eighth Annual Beauty Brunch

    FORT WORTH, TX, December 05, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Life isn't easy for anyone who's withstood the horrors of human trafficking or domestic violence. But volunteers from several local groups recently rolled up their sleeves to help make the struggle a bit easier for victims during the eighth annual Beauty Brunch.

During the recent Beauty Brunch, survivors enjoyed a day of relaxation and rejuvenation, along with a safe space to connect, heal, and thrive – all with the support and encouragement of the local community.

The event was organized by One Safe Place's VOICES Committee, a volunteer group comprising domestic violence survivors who are dedicated to providing advocacy and raising awareness about domestic violence and its effects on the community. Other groups contributing to the success of the Beauty Brunch included One Safe Place's Family Justice Center, along with generous support from Salon and Spa Galleria and its beauty professionals.

During this year's Beauty Brunch, multiple independent professionals from Salon and Spa Galleria generously donated their time and talent to provide a variety of complimentary beauty and wellness services to survivors. Participants enjoyed a day of pampering and relaxing treatments, including haircuts and styles; chair massages; facials; and makeup application; along with nail and brow styling.

The collaboration between these local groups and the Tarrant County community proves that combining resources and working together is essential to supporting those in need. Participants received a powerful reminder from their community that they're not alone in their struggle and subsequent journey to healing.
