GTN Names Three New Managing Directors

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN, January 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Global Tax Network (GTN), a leading mobility tax services firm, has announced the promotions of Raj Azad, Richard Leach, and Tracy Novotny to Managing Director, effective January 1, 2025.

Raj Azad

Azad has been with GTN for over 21 years playing a pivotal role in the firm's expansion. Known for his strong client relationships, he takes pride in delivering customized, responsive service to clients across various industries. His leadership has been instrumental in building trust and long-term partnerships.

Earning his undergraduate degree with honors in accounting from Hansraj College, Delhi University, India, Azad also holds a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Away from the office, he values time with his wife and three daughters and is an avid tennis player.

Richard Leach

With over two decades of international tax management experience, Leach brings a wealth of expertise to his new role as Managing Director. Since joining GTN, Leach has played a significant role in expanding the private client services and high net-worth practices, while also strengthening the firm's core mobility service offerings.

Leach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from Bristol University and is an IRS Enrolled Agent. Outside of the office, he enjoys quality time with his family and maintains an active lifestyle, engaging in activities such as distance running, tennis, and skiing.

Tracy Novotny

Novotny brings 18 years of experience in the global mobility tax field, specializing in advisory and compliance services for both corporate and individual clients. She is passionate about identifying continuous process improvements to enhance the customer experience and increase efficiencies.

Loff shared his excitement on Novotny's achievement, stating "Tracy has consistently delivered exceptional results, and this promotion reflects her commitment to excellence and growth. Active in the global mobility community, Novotny frequently contributes as a writer and speaker on international assignment topics at local and national events. She earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Away from the office, Novotny enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, embracing seasonal activities throughout the year. She also enjoys reading and learning about history through her travels.
