This initiative allows us not only to extend aid but also to empower our team to join in supporting these families when they need it most.
RALEIGH, NC, January 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the CAHEC Foundation is proud to announce a powerful initiative to support impacted victims. Recognizing the devastating impact on families in Western North Carolina, the CAHEC Foundation is partnering with Squared Away Response, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical resources—such as food, clothing, and shelter—to help communities rebuild after tragedy. In addition to the CAHEC Foundation's corporate donation, the organization offered employees the opportunity to contribute to this impactful cause.
Through this collaboration, the CAHEC Foundation is contributing to the construction of temporary housing shelters to provide much-needed relief for families who have lost their homes. The CAHEC Foundation is proud to donate $30,425 to Squared Away Response to assist with building sheds for those impacted by Hurricane Helene.
"We've heard from so many employees asking how we can help those affected by Hurricane Helene," said Stefanie Lee, Community Relations Manager at CAHEC. "This initiative allows us not only to extend aid but also to empower our team to join in supporting these families when they need it most. Squared Away Response's mission aligns perfectly with the CAHEC Foundation's commitment to community development," Stefanie added. "Together, we can make a meaningful difference in helping families rebuild their lives."
CAHEC invites its employees and broader network to rally behind this initiative and support Squared Away Response's essential efforts. Contributions will directly fund the construction of temporary shelters, providing a vital foundation for recovery and hope for families affected by Hurricane Helene.
