Louisville Cosmetic Dentist Invents New Dental Instrument

Hahn is known for his exceptional dentistry - he has been featured on The Learning Channel (TLC) doing a smile makeover, is accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has been published internationally on the subject of natural cosmetic dentistry. Few, until now, know Dr. Hahn's other passion - inventing. Dr. Hahn holds one dental product patent already and has several in the works.

His most recent invention, called the Hahn Twin Forceps, allows dentists to adjust the bite and deliver indirect restorations such as caps and veneers with better accuracy and in less time.

Dr. Hahn began inventing when he was a child, taking apart everything he could get his hands on trying to learn how it functions. With his most recent invention, Dr. Hahn launched Hahn Unlimited, LLC, his company that will showcase new products as well as offer consulting services to companies looking for an edge in their market. "Inventing new products and ways of doing things more effectively is not a choice for me. I wake up in the middle of the night with an idea and have to document it in one of my invention journals to free up my mind. I love creating new products. Dr. Hahn is launching his new dental instrument, the Hahn Twin Forceps in August through a well known dental distributor. Due to his experience with the process, everything from the idea to the patent itself was handled by Dr. Hahn. "Once I had the idea of the Twin Forceps I knew it was a winner. I built a prototype, sourced a manufacturer, had the product built and wrote the patent myself." says Dr. Hahn.

Although Dr. Hahn is a cosmetic dentist his inventions are not limited to dentistry. As a matter of fact, Dr. Hahn has inventions he is working on in many different fields, and for that reason is now consulting with other companies as an independent contractor.
