/24-7PressRelease/ - Brussels, Belgium, June 30, 2008 - Alain Dominique Perrin said, "EFMD is a European organisation of which the mission is to develop and promote Management Education. It is one of the principal organisations in the world and is a leading figure in the drive for quality standards in higher management education through such renowned accreditation processes as EQUIS and EPAS for Business Schools and CLIP for companies. Very honoured by this nomination, I intend to pursue the mission of Ray van Schaik, to whom I render homage as well as to the rest of the staff, in particularly for his contribution to the development of the EFMD network since more than ten years. Asia, and especially China, should be one of our biggest endeavours in the future. Wherever it is possible, I will also strive to increase our effort in bridging the gap between the educational and corporate worlds which I know very well".
Prof. Eric Cornuel the Director General & CEO of EFMD said, "Alain is a leading figure in the international business community and we are delighted that he has accepted to work more closely with EFMD.
