/24-7PressRelease/ - HUDSON, WI, July 11, 2008 - Due to a major growth in business in recent months, Docucopies moved their site to a faster server to keep up with consumer demand for their low-priced color copies. The new server speeds up the processing time of orders, as well as the loading time of some of the website's most valuable functions, like the automated cost calculator and the instructional video tutorials.
They also improved some of their automation capabilities. Now when a customer enters a ZIP code for billing or shipping, their address is cross-checked in the UPS database to ensure that the package is being sent to the right place. If the address and ZIP code do not match, the user is prompted to pick a ZIP from a list of closer matches.
These developments follow a recent redesign of the site's main page, which was intended to make the navigation and functional options more clear and concise. All the recent upgrades are aimed at improving the user experience and reducing the need for one-on-one help ordering color copies and digital printing through the website.
"Efficiency is a top priority," says Jeff Corbo, head of marketing for Docucopies. "It keeps our prices the lowest on the web, keeps our production running smoothly, and keeps our customers happy."
