Leading People Search Facility to Hire New Technologists

The technical department, based at their waterfront headquarters in Cardiff Bay, is currently advertising 3 positions to assist with the escalating workload that has arisen from the increase in users and the introduction of enhanced products.

Tracesmart has continued to invest heavily in the services they provide to both their consumer and corporate customers, after acquiring the 2008 Electoral Roll in April, visitors to the consumer site can now access close to 300 million records. The IT department maintain the logistics of uploading this wealth of data and the continuing increase in products and services which aim to enhance their visitors' experience. The company are advertising positions for 2 web developers and a systems analyst, who will work alongside the well established in-house technical team. The primary role of the web developers will be to improve and expand the range of services on offer and assist in the maintenance of existing tracing services. The systems analyst will oversee the planning and production of specifications for new products, and work closely with the web developers to transform bespoke ideas into services for the company's extensive client base.

The team is headed by Technical Director, Paul Weathersby, who was pivotal in producing and developing Tracesmart's flagship people search, and has formed a committed and skilful IT department. Weathersby comments, 'We are growing as a company and experiencing an influx of new customers, so we need more support staff to maintain our high level of service. Further to developing consumer services, the new recruits will also work on Tracesmart's corporate service suite. The addition of 3 new employees is part of a recruitment drive that has already seen the company double in size in the last fiscal year, with the sales and trace departments continuing to expand their workforce to handle the increased demand for their tailor made services.
