Leland, NC, September 20, 2008, Monica J. McCabe, Project Manager for Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of clinical pharmaceutical trials.

Ms. McCabe has more than 15 years of nursing experience and eight years of research experience and specializes in oncology and hematology nursing. At her current post, she is responsible for managing clinical pharmaceutical trials. Early in her career, Ms. McCabe realized that there was a need for quality healthcare - a realization that prompted her to become involved in her profession. Ms. McCabe takes pride in conceptualizing an event for cancer survivors in Tucson, Arizona called 'Embrace Change,' that includes 20 to 25 survivors of various stages of cancer. She notes that perseverance and determination are the driving forces behind her success.

Ms. McCabe is pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing Management from Regis University. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is a supporter of the Southern Arizona Oncology Nursing Society and the American Diabetes Association.
