MABANK, TX, September 23, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beth Fehlbaum, author of the well-received and popular fiction novel, Courage in Patience, a story of recovery from childhood sexual abuse, will appear at the Barnes and Noble, 190 Cedar Sage, Garland, TX, 75040, on Saturday, September 27, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Joanna Rogers, Barnes and Noble Community Relations Manager for the Garland store, stated, "We are also having a fundraiser that day for Sachse Public Library so we expect a large crowd in the store. We will include the sales of Courage in Patience towards the fundraiser. Barnes and Noble is donating a percentage of the sales made that day by the library supporters back to the Sachse library."

Beth Fehlbaum drew on her experiences as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and as a long-time English teacher to craft the fictional story of Ashley, a fifteen-year-old girl who is removed from her mother's home and placed in the care of her biological father, whom she has previously not known. Courage in Patience is the story of Ashley's healing through knowing a group of teenagers who all learn to face their greatest fears and see what they are made of.
