With more than 23 years of professional experience, Mr. Martin specializes in real estate and civil rights law and also practices personal injury and Native American law. He provides pro bono legal services for senior citizens in Northern New Mexico. He was the attorney for the Latino and Chicano Police Officers' Association for over 10 years and has litigated cases against the FBI, the IRS and the U.S. Marshals. He has also litigated against many federal and local law enforcement agencies to protect the civil rights of their employees. Mr. Martin also served as managing attorney for Indian Pueblo Legal Services. Following the example set by his friend who was an attorney, Mr. Martin decided to enter law school. He is a 2002 recipient of a Top Producers Award with ING and attributes his success to his hard work.

A registered Democrat and former congressional candidate, Mr. Martin received his JD from the University of New Mexico School of Law and his Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Business Administration with a concentration in real estate from the University of Albuquerque. He is a member of the Premier Club with ING and the National Latino Peace Officers Association. His future plans include working on an international level with issues affecting Latin America. Mr. Martin is fluent in Spanish and English.
