Ms. Townsend Schmieder specializes in playing the guitar and managing the band, writing lyrics for Christian songs and leading vocals. She developed her skills in music and worked her way up to her current position. She also currently serves as a worship leader at a church.

Ms. Townsend Schmieder received her Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota.
