Dr. Ali W. Jama Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 12, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ali W. Jama, Chairperson for the Somali American Education Program, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of international education.

With over 32 years of professional experience, Dr. Jama has been in his current position with the Somali American Education Program for eight years. As chairperson, he is responsible for testing his students' progress, improving standards of education and educating students on literacy, language, reading, writing, chemistry, biology and mathematics. He also helps students in high school and college, conducts programs for immigrant students and finds organizations that suit their needs. Dr. Jama's passion toward education motivated him to become involved in his profession and attributes his success to hard work, determination and dedication.

A product of Padova University, Dr. Jama received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1978 and his Master's Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics in 1975, as well as his Bachelor's Degree in 1972.

The Somali American Education Program is an educational institution providing language assistance, literacy, reading, mathematics and writing for high school to college level students.
