Dr. Waseema Dalvi Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    PRINCE FREDERICK, MD, October 23, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Waseema Dalvi, Physician and Medical Doctor at Calvert Memorial Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of internal medicine.

Dr. Dalvi has been specializing in internal medicine at Calvert Memorial Hospital for two years. As such, she works in the intensive care unit, manages general admissions and assesses patients for testing, and performs magnetic resonance imaging exams and biopsy and blood work. In addition, Dr. Dalvi has trained and taught residents. Her interest in the medical field and her parent's desire inspired her to become involved in her profession. The support she receives from her family and her faith in God are the driving forces behind her success.

In 2006, Dr. Dalvi completed her Chief Medical Residency at Frankford Hospital, which is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University, and her internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Hospital. She received her MD from Drexel University in 2005 and received the Merit Award as well as silver and bronze medals. She is a member of the American College of Physicians. She aspires to pursue her critical care fellowship and continue teaching and training residents. She absolutely adores her 18 month old naughty cat, Chichi.
