With more than 40 years of professional experience, Mrs. Dessureau attends regional shows with her American and European art pottery. Prior to establishing her business, she worked as a teacher. Mrs. Dessureau received her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 and her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Temple University in 1964. She sits on the board of retirees of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers and is a board member of the Delaware Valley Opera Co. (DVOC), the American Art Pottery Association and Women for Greater Philadelphia. Mrs. Dessureau is a member of the Greater Delaware Valley Antiques Dealers' Association (GDVADA) and several community committees working for historic preservation.
