Ms. Gelfand has 65 years of professional experience during which she developed expertise in merchandising and marketing. Aside from overseeing the daily operations of her business, her responsibilities include managing start-up companies, consulting on structure and framework and niche product marketing. Ms. Gelfand received her Bachelor of Science in Fashion from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1947. She sits on the board of directors of the Retail Marketing Society and is a member of the Fashion Group International, Inc. as well as on the Advisory Board at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising, and is currently President of the prestigious Trends group.
