Ms. Swanger has five years of professional experience in education and three years with Big Shanty Intermediate School. Recognized as an excellent reading and writing teacher, she is responsible for solving problems in the classroom, overseeing literature groups, writing lesson plans, conducting workshops, teaching grammar, mathematics, reading, social studies and science, and introducing students to foreign languages by teaching them various greetings. In addition to her classroom duties, Ms. Swanger serves as a representative for the quarterly training of third-grade students and manages the publication of the third-grade newspaper. She attributes her success to her hard work, consciousness, collaboration, and learning and listening skills.

A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Ms. Swanger received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2006. She is affiliated with the Professional Association of Georgia Educators, and counts the National Parkinson Foundation, Wounded Warriors, the American Heart Association and Heifer International among her favorite charities. Her goals for the future include becoming a certified gifted education teacher.
