Dr. Natalie Peikin Berman Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    LAS VEGAS, NV, October 24, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Natalie Peikin Berman, Professor at Nevada State College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

With 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Berman specializes in teaching English and education. In her role at Nevada State College, she is responsible for teaching, conducting workshops and developing curriculum. Throughout her career, she has taught at all levels of education, including private institutions, and recently served as a Chair of the Humanities Department at Nevada State College. Dr. Berman attributes her success to her dedication and passion for her profession. The inspiration she received from a teacher prompted her to become involved in education.

A recipient of the National Scholarship from Phi Delta Gamma, Dr. Berman has also been honored with the Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Nevada State College, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Phi Delta Gamma, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Pittsburgh. She volunteers for the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation and has taught college English classes to high school students so they could earn credit for the dual credit program. She aspires to continue her education in technology and become involved in conducting more workshops at national conventions.

Dr. Berman received her Doctorate Degree from Indiana University in 2003, her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1967 and her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Temple University in 1964. She also holds certifications as a superintendent, teacher for public and private education, and principal for the states of Pennsylvania and Nevada. She is a member of the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the Nevada Association of School Administrators, Phi Delta Gamma and the Hadassah Organization.
