Chicago Record Label Signs Major Distribution Deal

    CHICAGO, IL, November 12, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chicago based record label JAP Music & Entertainment Group announced today an exclusive worldwide distribution deal through Bungalo/Universal Music Group Distribution. The multi year deal is a joint venture with Los Angeles, CA. based multi-media company ASH BROTHERS ENTERTAINMENT and Toluca Lake, CA. based entertainment agency KAT Entertainment Management.

Under the new deal JAPMEG will develop, license, and release albums and other entertainment related products in a variety of genres including Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, Rock, Electronic, and World music. The first project slated for Spring 2009 is a new album from R&B/Electro- Acoustic Soul artist Jarrard Anthony. "JA is an enormously talented young artist who has been working internationally on the independent music scene for sometime. His presence is very special and we're very excited about this opportunity to bring his music and message to a mainstream audience," says JAPMEG President Christopher Irby.
