MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, November 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of surreal BBC3 comedy series The Mighty Boosh can catch the cast in action this December in Manchester, when the live stage show visits the north-west city on its UK tour. The Mighty Boosh was actually originated as a stage show and was first performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998. Since its inception it has built up a cult following which features hilariously bizarre songs written by Fielding and Barratt.
Celebrate opening the advent calendar on December 1st when the show starts at the Manchester Apollo, staying at this venue until the 4th.
On Friday December 5th, Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding - who created and star in the series as Howard Moon and Vince Noir - will upgrade to the Manchester Evening News Arena, which is a short walk from the city's Victoria train station and Northern Quarter of bars and restaurants.
They play for the final time the next night, so it could be a great opportunity to spend the weekend in Manchester and see what the place has to offer.
Boosh fans wanting to watch the opening show at the Apollo and searching for accommodation relatively close to the venue can find some great hotels in Manchester . To start off with Ramada Manchester Piccadilly - rated 3 stars- has double rooms from 70 GBP. The 4 star Yang Sing Oriental which offers standard doubles inclusive of breakfast can be booked for 128 GBP per night.
The Grand finale on Saturday is guaranteed to be a magnificent performance from the duo. If you require MEN Arena hotels - the Premier Apartments Manchester are within easy reach of the venue. They offer double rooms from 94GBP, a saving of 107GBP from the normal rack rate!
