The Best in California Classic Cars and Swimsuit Models Showcased at SoCal Beaches Magazine

    SAN DIEGO, CA, November 26, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When it comes to Southern California beaches there are many things that come to mind namely surfing, the boardwalk, palm trees, cool cars ie: "woodies" and pretty girls. SoCal Beaches Magazine has been able to showcase some of the best classic cars and beaches in San Diego and Southern California after 3+ years of meeting car owners and arranging beach area photo shoots.

Cars in the online photo collection include woodies, corvettes and some of the best cars from the 40's 50's and 60's "Beach Boy's" era.

Although the magazine is based on providing information on lodging, attractions and local events, the classic cars and local swimsuit models section has grown to include over 50 of the best classic cars and also local swimsuit models, thus bringing in a growing amount of traffic from classic car enthusiasts from all over the country.

Some of the more popular cars include a 1949 Woodie DeSoto, one of only 6 on the road, a three time national best in show 1958 corvette, a 1951 Mercury hot rod and a 1955 Chevy Nomad with a 500 + horse power engine - all shot along San Diego area beaches.

The online publication is developing a growing fan base on Myspace.com and YouTube.com as a growing number people are watching and viewing beach related articles and video showcasing the best in Southern California classic cars and swimsuit models.

Models from the photo shoots also gain a lot of exposure for their modeling page and are often booked for other local work in the area once posted online. Some models come down from as far as Los Angeles to shoot with classic cars along the San Diego beaches and to be showcased on the website.

"We have a growing number of car owners now contacting us to have their cars showcased on our website," said Sean Callahan who does some of the photography and helps set up the photo shoots. "A lot of word of mouth referrals from classic car owners who like the shots we took of their cars and told their friends. Once the photo shoot is done the car owners have a web page showcasing their photos plus originals for posters."
