ATLANTA, GA, January 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today, Write2Market, the Atlanta public relations and content development firm located in Little Five Points, announces the addition of talented writer and project manager Melissa Thomas-Dubois to its team.
After a 15 year career in corporate marketing, Thomas-Dubois had recently hung up her marketing director heels to focus on the craft of writing when she came to the attention of Lisa Calhoun, President of Write2Market. "Our agency is growing, and we hired Melissa for contract work. She executed flawlessly and as a former marketing director herself, really understands the pressures that today's marketing leaders are under to drive new sales and develop stronger customer relationships."
"I am thrilled to join the team at Write2Market as it continues to expand and experience growth. Write2Market's proven processes and industry best practices mean clients get the results they need to grow their customer base," saysThomas-Dubois. "My expertise as a consultant and white paper writer will add yet another layer to the depth of their team."
Before joining Write2Market, Thomas-Dubois worked for several years heading up the marketing group at Atlanta-based CompBenefits, a national insurance provider. There she was responsible for all marketing functions including communications, distribution channels and planning. During the company's Campaign 100, sales and marketing efforts increased new business annualized revenues in excess of $25 million over a 120 day period. For the past several years she has run her own freelance communications firm, providing copywriting, white papers and marketing for clients in the non-profit, healthcare, and technology sectors.
Thomas-Dubois is a member of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, The Georgia Writer's Association, Emory Friends of Creative Writing, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and is a founding member of the North Fulton Caribou Critique group. Her numerous writing awards include a recent first place in from SCBWI for her non-fiction manuscript "Alice Thunders Down the Road."
Hiring experienced business writing talent like Thomas-Dubois is a part of Write2Market's strategic plan to expand operations in Atlanta over the next six months, offering broader public relations services to B2B clients. "Our clients are turning to us to help them weather this economy with better public relations, better web presence, and better overall visibility. We're answering that challenge by investing in our team and expanding our Atlanta public relations and web copywriting capabilities over the next few months," says Calhoun.
This year, as a part of its strategic growth initiatives, Write2Market also announced a 401k and profit sharing plan for its team of Atlanta writers and public relations experts.
