/24-7PressRelease/ - CLEVELAND, OH, September 26, 2005 - Tapart News and Art that Talks at http://tapsearch.com/tapartnews reveals the driving forces of Free Trade and Globalization from the streets of USA, living experiences and private business files. It has published articles and commentaries mixed with thought provoking editorial art by Ray Tapajna. It is resource everyone should use who want to know more about the most massive dislocation of jobs in U.S. history and who want to help restore the American Dream for all in the world.
It starts with this question:
Did the U.S. government fund the moving of factories and production starting in 1956 and did they later fund and support the Maquiladora factories later and prior to the passing of the NAFTA and GATT trade agreements in 1994? Free Trade is not trade as historically practiced and it is not new. It is based on moving production and outsourcing jobs and not products per se. The main commodities are workers who are put on a world trading block to compete down to the lowest common denominators of slave wage workers and even child labor It now has a recent history totalling 12 years and even a longer one back to 1956. It demonstrates failures dramatically for many years. Over 2,000 U.S. factories were moved to Mexico prior to NAFTA and GATT. After NAFTA was passed in 1994, this number quickly doubled. NAFTA and GATT just confirmed and speeded up the process.
Tapart News demonstrates the fallacies of U.S. unemployment rates and invites all to study the way this data is collected. It can not be compared in any way with past reporting especially since only about 38% of all American workers qualify for unemployment insurance today.
