The black 2005 Hummer looks like a typical H2, but is equipped with Level 2 protection, as classified by the U.S. military. That means its windows are protected by bulletproof glass that can withstand gunshots from a .30 caliber carbine. The glass also is impenetrable by hammers, bats and hatchets.

The armored Hummer rental has ballistic steel plates beneath its skin to protect its front, sides and roof. The modified Hummer's undercoating is designed to repel shock effects from land mines and grenades, while the steel-reinforced Run-Flat tires won't deflate even when punctured by nails, spikes or bullets.
