Dr. Stuart is a general dentist who, throughout his career, has had a keen interest in the study and treatment of patients with Temporomandibular disorders. Dr. Stuart is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he honed his studies in the field of Neuromuscular Dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Stuart has observed the evolution of the understanding of TMD problems, and strongly believes in the science of the computerized biomedical instrumentation that neuromuscular dentists have available: as it enables them to objectively measure and treat patients with bite-related problems that often are the cause of headaches, jaw joint dysfunction, ear symptomatology and neck pain.

At LVI under the tutelage of Dr. Kent Smith of Dallas, Texas, Dr. Stuart became aware of the significant health risks of obstructive sleep apnea, and the role that dentists can play in accessing and treating this highly under-diagnosed problem.

Dr. Stuart began treating his patients with OSA in 2008, and has already seen great results in the elimination of snoring and the reduction of sleep apnea.
