/24-7PressRelease/ - PASADENA, CA, November 14, 2005 - Rekon Technologies, a software provider of lien release and reconveyance processing software, announces the launch of Rekon Online, the new version of their popular mortgage lien release system Rekon. Loan servicing companies now have an alternative way to use the enterprise version of the Rekon system for preparing reconveyances, lien releases and satisfactions nationwide. Rekon Online provides smaller to mid-size companies an opportunity to be competitive and cost-effective in recording lien releases and satisfactions.
Rebekah Bueno of Wilmington Finance, a Rekon Online user, says, "...it's great that we are provided with everything we need, such as forms, cover letters, recording fees, etc.
"We are excited to be part of a new trend, and find the convenience of Rekon Online to be superior in both ease of use and cost effectiveness to hosting the software on our own servers."
Rekon, the preferred lien release software package for the mortgage industry, is used for preparing more than 50% of lien releases in the U.S. Present users install Rekon on their own servers and get regular updates of the software to incorporate the regulatory changes and other upgrades necessary for mortgage lien release processing.
Rekon Online offers small to mid-size companies the full spectrum of features available in the existing Rekon product, including electronic recording of lien releases, custodial documents ordering, recording fee calculations and check creation. Users will now have access to the full technology of the enterprise version of the Rekon system, without expending the resources to load and support the application on their own LAN. With Rekon Online, Rekon Technologies maintains and supports the hardware and the software, providing remote access to the application. Loans are data-entered online, but are printed at the user's own local printer.
"Even in a medium-size loan servicing operation, the lien release process is high speed and data-intensive," explains Aurora Marsh, Executive Vice President of Rekon Technologies, "Companies previously only had two alternatives: to host and maintain the application and database within their own corporate infrastructure, or to outsource the entire lien release process. Now the I/T part of the operation can be outsourced to Rekon Technologies, while the business function stays in-house. Rekon Online provides the best of both worlds."
Rekon Technologies is a software company based in Pasadena, California recognized nationally as one of the key providers of software systems to the mortgage loan servicing industry. The Rekon system is known for its advanced, infallible method of lien release and assignment document preparation. DokTrak provides solutions to the ubiquitous problem of file and document tracking.
